This resource is created by Michele Tobias from UC Davis.
The author describes the resource:
This workshop cover approaches and guidelines for creating map figures for academic books and journals using QGIS 3.26 to illustrate one workflow in a graphical GIS. This general workflow can be applied to other graphical GIS programs or even non-map figures.
This workshop is divided into two sections.
- The first covers concepts and approaches to making figures.
- The second will provide hands-on experience making a map figure in QGIS.
A recording of the tutorial is available, using QGIS 3.26.
